Creo Bella Studios (“Creo Bella”, “we”, “us”) makes wedding films and photographs, based in Brisbane, Queensland. ABN 76 990 013 320.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Only what we need to answer your enquiry and look after your wedding:

• When you enquire: your names and your partner’s name, email address, phone number, wedding date and venue, the services you’re interested in, how you found us, and anything you tell us about your day.
• When you book: the details we need for your contract and invoices, your wedding timeline, and the names of people and suppliers involved in your day.
• On your wedding day: film, audio and photographs of you, your guests and your celebration.
• When you visit our website: technical details such as your browser and device, the pages you view and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar tools.

We don’t ask for sensitive information. If you choose to share something personal to help us plan, such as a family or cultural detail, we use it only for that purpose. If you pay by card, your card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.

Mostly directly from you: through our website forms, by email, phone, social media messages and when we meet. Some comes from your wedding day itself, occasionally from your planner or other suppliers when we coordinate the day, and some automatically when you use our website.

• To reply to your enquiry and check whether your date is free.
• To prepare your contract, plan your day, and make and deliver your films and photographs.
• To send you messages about your enquiry or booking, by email and SMS.
• To send occasional news or offers, if you’ve agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
• To understand how our website is used and whether our advertising works.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We never sell your personal information.

We keep the films and photographs we make of your wedding, and secure backups of them, so we can deliver them to you and replace anything that’s lost.

Whether we may share any of your wedding in our portfolio, on our website or social media, or in awards is set out in your contract, and we always keep to what you’ve agreed. If you’d rather your wedding wasn’t featured, just tell us.

Only trusted providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Our customer and messaging system (HighLevel), which receives our website forms and sends our emails and SMS.
• The gallery and video services we use to deliver your films and photographs, such as Vimeo.
• Our website hosting, analytics and advertising platforms, such as Cloudflare, Google and Meta.
• Our accountant, bank and payment providers.
• Any photographer or filmmaker working alongside us on your day.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Our website uses cookies and similar technology to understand how visitors use it and, if you arrive from one of our ads, to measure whether that ad worked. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Embedded content, such as our films on Vimeo or YouTube, our Google reviews and our Instagram feed, may set its own cookies under those companies’ policies.

We keep personal information in secure, password-protected systems, with access limited to our team. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires (financial records, for example, are kept for five years), and then delete or de-identify it.

• You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. We’ll respond within 30 days.
• You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email, and from SMS by replying STOP.
• You’re welcome to ask us general questions without giving your name, although we’ll need your details to check and book your date.

If you have a question or concern about how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
